Website Analytics Review highlights key areas of concern
Following 12 months of Trading on their first transactional website Matalan were concerned that their Conversion Rate was too low. We carried out a full website analytics review to attempt to ascertain where the issues and opportunities for growth lay. Using Omniture and Google Analytics we investigated three key areas producing a 30 page report key areas of which were ;
– Traffic sources, i.e. types, quality, spend
– Checkout Funnel analysis to understand drop outs, barriers to sale etc
– Overall site usability for key elements such as Search and Navigation
Having highlighted several recommendations for improvement a roadmap for change was created and implemented resulting in an over 60% uplift in conversion
