At the heart of a real online success story

With over 19 years experience at the Littlewoods Shop Direct group, working for their different store, catalogue and online brands Steve and Richard were involved in all aspects of their e-commerce growth.  Steve oversaw the first online order being made online for Littlewoods in 1999, swiftly followed by various websites and the major integration project when Littlewoods and Shop Direct merged in 2003/4. Major responsibilities included ;

–  Heading up the e-commerce IT and Operations teams for 14 websites

–  Developing and Launching new online business developments

–  Running the CRM and Digital Marketing teams to cover the myriad of Brands under the Shop Direct umbrella

From 1999 to 2007 online sales grew from zero to over £500m/pa. We were at the heart of it all
