Launching a new Multi-channel Sports Brand to the UK

In conjunction with Matalan a new sports brand was launched in the UK in October 2013. Top end brands such as Nike and Adidas, across a wide spectrum of sports, were introduced via 10 standalone stores and the introduction of a new website. We were engaged to effectively own the end to end build of the website ensuring it was launched in conjunction with the Stores pre peak trading 2013. Our key task performed included ;

–  Vendor platform selection (magento was selected) along with the agency to build it

–  Full end to end project management of all elements of the implementation – technical and business and 3rd party vendors

–  Testing, Cutover planning and implementation of the website in October 2013 (6 months after signoff)

 

The successful speedy and cost effective launch of the site was appreciated by the Board. Performance continues to exceed expectations
